We went to the duck pond today and fed the ducks after a picnic lunch. During lunch, I started our first literature-based unit of study for the Summer: The Trumpet of the Swan. Big Girl has already read it, but it's new for Little Girl.
There were two of these ducks at the pond, and when I went to put our things on a bench and saw this one in the bushes, I couldn't resist snapping a picture of him amongst the flowers.
