Calumny

There was a great post at Ignatius Press' blog recently:

• Calumny In the Blogosphere

Calumnious blogging is a serious offense against God's law. And those who engage in it are jeopardizing their immortal souls and the souls of others.

by Rev. Michael P. Orsi

It should be required reading for all Catholic bloggers. Including me.

• Calumny In the Blogosphere is a dead link now. It must have been moved or removed. I'm very happy to find your blog. The world is swimming in deceit, and yours is a light unto the darkness. I wish you would post more 'how to' type things, like 'how to forgive your spouse', 'how to recover from being the victim of violent crime', 'how to avoid divorce', 'how to obey your parents', 'how to ask God's forgiveness without justifying one's own sin', 'how to pray for a spouse without blaming him/her'. You know.

The way the blog is now, it's only meaningful to a small group of people. It's more like a scrapbook than a blog. If you want some interesting material, from a real Roman Catholic girl, you can try looking up 'fragileswan', on 'wordpress', and read some of her stuff. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you to link.

Who are your heros?
