This year, even though Little Girl is in Kindergarten, she is doing book reports for me. She is already reading Magic Treehouse, Junie B. Jones, and has even started reading Little House in the Big Woods on her own.
For the first book report of the year, the girls were allowed to pick a book on their own. Little Girl chose Junie B. Jones and the Mushy Gushy Valentime. (Yes, the title is spelled that way.) I took a picture of her report, but I wanted to type in the text for it in case you can't make it out. (You'll also see that she is learning her lower case letters, but decided it was taking too long and switched back to all caps. I had to let her know that she was required to use the letters as we actually get to them in the handwriting book.)

Not bad for the first time, huh?
Big Girl is currently working on finishing her diorama for her report, and I'll have pictures of that up as soon as she's finished.
